Moving host and building the new site

Now that I have moved my hosting to for the live site and for my testing sites, all my sites on NetworkSolutions have been shut down.

NetworkSolutions hosted my test sites for many years but I now need .net 4 hosting for development and a hosting service that will run Sitefinity CMS.

Setting up on Winhost and on DiscountASP was painless and I soon had my domains and email pointed to the new hosting servers. Both new hosts have IIS 7  Manager so it was easy to redirect (permanent 301) my old domain to with URL Rewrite.

Just writing the last couple of User Controls for the site this weekend, so I should be ready to start uploading phase one content next week. I aim to make the site live in the next two weeks just staring with a handful of topics including Content Porter Explorer, XSLT Filtering, Tridion Maintenance, TMCS mail Queue Monitor and a section about how I built the site with nested master pages, User Controls and Sitefinity CMS.

Phase two content will include Tridion Event code, Tridion Log Analysis with IIS Logparser.

Where's the Blog Calendar and Tag List?

Telerik Blog controls for Calendar and taglist have been removed because of xhtml compliance problems with unknown element attributes.

List control had unknown "disabled" attribute in "a" element.

Calendar control has "Href" instead of "href" and a span wrapper containing table and div.

I will reinstate these controls when I have a fix for these problems.
